NOET's Summer Adventures '08
These holidays, on NOET's Summer Adventures, youngsters will have a chance to
try Rock Climbing, instead of watching TV all summer; a chance to camp-out in
the forest on their own, instead of playing endless computer games; a chance to
make a bunch of new friends, instead of hangin’ out with buddies as usual; and
mainly, a chance to make a lifetime of great memories instead of doing the same
ol’stuff all summer.
The Natura Outdoor Education Trust (NOET) presents MyWay! and On-the-Go Summer Camps – two programs packed with adventure, games, nature, friendship, fun and learning that’s aimed at
helping youngsters get a taste of adventure and discover their true potential, their unique strengths, their
links with people and the world around them
MyWay!
An 8-day Outdoor Educational camp designed to help children
discover their true selves. A week of adventure, dramatics, art, nature and
friendship put together by some of the best minds from the fields of Adventure
Sports, Mountaineering, Ecology, Performing Arts and Non-Conventional Education.
The camp will largely help participants acquire new skills
like Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Horse-riding etc. and get an in-depth understanding
of the wilderness around us. Also, challenges like camping-out and running the
campus on their own, under supervision, are sure to contribute to their
becoming more independent.
Each day of the camp uses experiential learning, and the
adventure and wilderness experiences in getting the participants to explore
themselves and discover different aspects of their personality like ‘how do I
face challenges?’; ‘what limits me?’; ‘how do I express myself?’; ‘My world and
